How do I set up my laptop to automatically get the right date and time when I connect to the internet?? It's never correct....

Go down to the time in the system tray.

Right click on it and then select "Edit Date/Time".

In this window make sure the Date is set correctly on the calander.

Click on Time Zone Tab: At the top of the map is the time zone selection. Use the down arrow to show the list. Select your time zone.

Click on Internet Time Tab. You will see in the bar the Windows time. If you use the down arrow you will see the option for the Government time. This is the time based of the Federal governments Atomic clock. I like the Government time. Choose the one you want and then Click Update Now. When it tells you the time is update, click APPLY then OK. Your time is set and should stay.

If the time changes again your Battery on the Motherboard may be bad. You will need to buy one and replace it.
