I got a free webcam with my keyboard a few years back, i don't have the disk or keyboard anymore. How can i figure out the make & info on it?? I plug it in and nothing happens.

I found a Topcom USB skype phone(29€) at PC City Barcelona.
On the pakeging is says OS/ windows 2000 Xp.
I assume the OS means Mac Compatible. I have OSX 10.3.9. has anybody recently bought one of these phone, and does it really work with Mac... Plug and play (without any extra stuff needed) thanks D.

Hey,

I have a 8500GT and I'm thinking of upgrading and
I don't want to spend a lot of money on a 8800gts or a 8800gtx.

My motherboard (Asus P5K) supports 2 16* pci-e graphics cards so I am thinking of buying another one.
I was just wondering if anyone knew what gets better performance.

A) Two 8500GT's (512mb)
B) 8800GTS


Also is over clocking your graphics card worth doing?
My friends computer screwed up because he over clocked his 8800GTX.

Dual booted Windows XP SP2/vista ultimate (custom built)
Dual Core AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800, 2300 MHz (10 x 230)
RADEON X700 video card (512 MB on board RAM)
1.25 GB of system RAM

I would like to find a video card that can handle world of warcraft and all it's addons without lag.. and that x700 just an't cutting it.. any suggestions?

i'v been looking at the Radeon HD 2600 XT is that a good card if so witch brand should I use if not witch card do you think I should get... under $175 is my budget.

I have had my cordless logitech mouse for just over a year now and its recently started acting really weird. Its really glitchy and disappears and reappears in different places. It moves really slow sometimes and I cant get it to do what I want it to. Batteries are full power and Ive tried pushing the button to connect the device over and over... I even tried unplugging it completely... no difference. Also downloaded the newest set point. Im at my wits end! Is there anything else I can try or do I just need to buy a new one??? Any help would be much appreciated.

How do I know if this memory is going to work in a motherboard that's supposed to have 1.8v memory?

Can the memory voltage be changed from 1.8v to 2.0v or 2.1v on the mobo? If so, how?

My family computer has 1g of ddr2 ram in two sticks, i think. My office was throwing out some computers the other day and I pulled two 1g sticks of ddr out of one of the computers. I only have three slots in my computer. Will ddr2 and ddr work togeather? Whats the best configuration of the three chips for speed?

i click on it"it comes as the disk is nt formatted"wen i click on format the disk it comes as "windows was unable to complete the format" .i tried defragmentation but it says "it cannot run on this type".the memory card is empty iv just bought a new one.Wen i try to scan it is displayed as "scan was completed wit an error".plz help me out.Is the memory card defcted or ma labtop.i have avg antivirus nd avast.

I have never had a problem buying my own videocards, but I'd like recommendations from people that probably know more than I do.

I'm into computer gaming (a lot) and I play mainly counter-strike and a bunch of free MMORPGs. I also play some more "higher" (or used to be) end games such as Half-Life 2 Deathmatch and FEAR.

I currently have a Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT (I think, something like that, i got it so long ago i can't remember) and i was looking to get a new one this year.

My specs are as follows:
Intel Pent 4 [NO HT] @ 2.26 GHz
768 MB of RAM
ATI RADEON 9600XT? 256-bit AGP4x/8x
Windows XP Professional SP2

any suggestions? oh, and i'm trying to keep it under 300$

I'm running Mac OSX 10.3.9 and have just installed SKYPE
1.5.0.80..... Whats the cheapest and simplest USB handset.
to buy ? My in /out speaker/ mic Jack does'nt work so 1'm using a EDRIOL UA-20 24 Bit interface to get my sound out. But I suppose with a USB handset... it doesn't matter.

My ATI Radeon x1950 Pro used to let me use the S video port in the back, plug in a video camera's video out into that S video port on the back of the graphic card. Is there a software I can download? or a driver? Ulead video studio would recognize the device. I plug in the video camera video out into the s video port on the EVGA 8800 GTX but it wont detect it in Ulead.
