go with the 8600gts. The 2600hd is a good card, but there are some crummy drivers out for those right now and i'm not too sure about HIS (i have seen some poor benchmarks on their cards) Evga is a great company and they will stand behind their product.

I find it hilarious that K O says yours are junk, and then shows you one that is slower than all three of the ones you picked. Anyway, go with the X1950XT, easily the best of the three, the other two are just midrange DirectX 10 cards that have no hope of playing any DirectX 10 games half way decently anyway. No worry about the brand, GeCube is fine.

I would get the X1950XT, it's a fast DX9 card and that's a great price.

The 2 DX10 cards you mentionned are too slow for DX10 games, and slower for DX9 games than the X1950XT, hence there is no point.

AMD has released Catalyst 7.10 drivers, hence the HD 2600 XT will run a lot faster now in DX10 & DX9 games.

I personally think nVidia is better than ATI. I would go with the 8600. It would probably fit better in a case, and may be easier to SLI. I've heard more bad about Crossfire than SLI too. Agree with the person above me too. Never heard of GeCube or HIS.
