See the first link for an image to help differentiate PCI and PCI-E slots.
See the second link for an image of an AGP slot (with a couple of PCI slots).
If you have an AGP slot there is a further complication - whether it is 4x or 8x... Examine the slots and compare with the diagram in the Compatibility section of the second link below.
Once you know which slot your mobo has available for graphics, you can investigate what options are available.
All motherboards will have PCI slots - but that's the worst option. Hopefully you'll find an AGP slot (being phased out - cards have a price premium) or better still a PCI-e slot (or possibly) two...
Then factors to consider include - what speed is your processor, how much RAM do you have, and what games do you want to play (there may be minimum or recommended specs).

Good Luck!

Sadly, pointing out your processor is near useless for anyone to help.

It's because video cards are input inside a slot, not a processor.

Most video cards today either come in an AGP or PCI-Express slot. This slots are dictated by your motherboard. Also, a motherboard that both PCI-Express and AGP slots are quite rare.

This means if you buy an AGP videocard. You can't put it in your motherboard if it has a PCI-Express slots. The reverse is also true. You can't put PCI-E video cards on AGP slots.

So I suggest you read your motherboard manual to know if your motherboard supports AGP and PCI-Express video cards.
