I have had my cordless logitech mouse for just over a year now and its recently started acting really weird. Its really glitchy and disappears and reappears in different places. It moves really slow sometimes and I cant get it to do what I want it to. Batteries are full power and Ive tried pushing the button to connect the device over and over... I even tried unplugging it completely... no difference. Also downloaded the newest set point. Im at my wits end! Is there anything else I can try or do I just need to buy a new one??? Any help would be much appreciated.

Its a cordless mouse not a rollerball. The bottom doesnt come off.

With a laser based mouse, wipe the bottom of the mouse gently with a soft cloth like an old cotton T-shirt rag, with just a few drops of Isopropyl alcohol on the rag. Do Not apply the alcohol directly to the mouse.

If this doesn't fix the issue, you probably need a new mouse.

Cirric is right. A lot of the times it's just a lot of dust stuck inside the mouse. You'd be surprised how much you find in some people's mice!

Hi. If it is mechanical then open the bottom, remove the ball and clean it, and clean the rollers of any debris. Should help.
