Everytime I print something in WordPerfect 12 I get this error, "The document size page is set to a custom form that may not be supported by this printer driver. If you incur problems, set your document page size to printer defined sizes." Then I have to manaully feed paper. This didn't happen before, only when WordPerfect 12 was installed.

the e drive in my puter, will not work, the light flickers in the cd tray, it does not show even in the computer. sometimes when i turn the puter off and back on, it will be back in. just comes and goes.

my son was the last person to use the computer. it is located in the hottest part of our home and when I turn it on I get a black screen stating "keyboard failure" then it flashes to more info and says it will start windows normally in 30 seconds only to be followed by a blue screen that says some sort of boot error...

my question is...do you think it's worth having someone come take a look? or did it totally overheat and it's time for a new one?
I looked at the back and it was totally caked with dust bunnies and when you power it on it does not sound like the fan is even running now....barely makes noise...
We have had 95 to 100 degree weather. I have told my kids to turn it off when they are not using it but I have found it a few times where the fan is just running like a jet and no one is using it.

Any help is appreciated.

I am mainly going to be gaming with more real time strategy games like star wars empire at war, but I would like it to be able to handle somewhat decently future games like Command and Conquer 3 when it comes out next year. i remove the cd after the second boot.. it saids DISC FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK. i set the cmos to 1st boot hard drive but the error still thesame..

i have a dell 4500S computer and need to know how i can update it to run better and play game with excelent graphics on it. it has a 1.69 GHZ processor and 256MB, without costing and arm and a leg. The graphics card is built in so i need an alternative to this problem.

for example 2 proccessors each one 3.2 GHz but one of them 512MB cache and another 256 MB of cache memory.
I know these numbers on a RAM but no Idea what about a proccessor memory, what is it for?

I am looking for a new laptop for portability. I want something lightweight and durable that will last me many years. It also has to be of the size that I could take it to class and take notes but not so small that it is going to ruin my eyesight. I am comfortable using any OS and am open to any manufacturer.

Is there a device that I can purchase for my compter to download pictures from my camera's memory card? I know that there are printers that you can put a memory card into but I do not have one.

What I have is HP camera, but I dont find a place to hook up a usb cable to it. So what I am thinking is...A usb cable that is some sort of adapter that you can put a memory card into??? Maybe???

I ask because I bought a laptop just under a year ago. It had to be returned 5 times to them before it was fixed (and the problem was the same one throughout). And I found their customer service and repair far from customer friendly. I'd be interested in knowing what others think of MESH.

ok, heres the deal, my friend, who is rather poor, has this very old computer, and the HD just gave out and it wont boot the system anymore, and me, being the nice person i am put their HD into my computer so I can save all of their files, but their user folder is private and of course their passowrd wont help me and I dont know how to get all of their personall stuff.
