I think people are biased because of what kind of computer they own and what they are used to. But seriously, I think it depends on why you are using your computer. Macs are easier to operate for many people learning to use the computer, don't get viruses, and have special applications that all operate the same way. So if you learn to use a Mac application, you won't have trouble learning to use a different application because they are all made by Apple. PCs are considered to be more powerful. Also, more applications run on PCs. If you're into gaming, you should get a PC because hardly any games run on Mac. Also, many websites don't run well on Macs. It really depends on why you are using your computer. If you have used PCs your whole life, you probably think Macs suck, and vice-versa.

It depends. People that own a mac will say a mac is better. People that own a pc would say that a pc is better. I have been a pc user all my life and I have recently switched to a mac last year. BEST choice I ever made. No virusus, very fast, sleek and many more options. You can still use windows XP off of a mac so you get best of both worlds. However, both a mac and pc are great.

I prefer the Mac, mainly because that's what I have been using all of my life. However, it really depends on what you will be using the computer for. For example, if you plan to use it in a business environment, get a PC. If you plan on not using it in a business environment, get a Mac. Macs come with many many features that Windows XP lacks. For instance, Windows XP doesn't have bundled software that comes with, or rather, it doesn't have GOOD bundled software that comes with it. Where as the Mac has the iLife Suite which includes iPhoto, for maintaining and storing your photos, iTunes, for storing your music, iWeb, for making websites, iDVD, for making cool DVD videos, and iMovie, for making home videos. The new Inteo based Macs are compatible with Windows XP, so you can isntall ANY version of Windows XP on the new Intel-based Macs. This is great for when you have to switch over to the not-so-fun part of life, business. So basically, a Mac is kind of like the ONLY computer you'll ever need. Also, Macs don't get viruses like PCs do. I have been using Macs all my life, and I have yet to see a virus on my computer! I would definately recommend the Mac, for reasons stated above, but if you plan on doing mostly business stuff, go for one of those "PCs". Hope this helped answer your question!

Macs. Better interface, more intuitive, and nowhere near as bug- and virus-prone as PCs. The only thing that PCs have over Macs are games -- There are a million more games available on PC than for the Mac platform. But overall? I'm a Mac girl at heart.

Macs are more compatible, crash less often, have better networking capabilities, and are more easily maintained than any PC ever made.

Unless you are really into gaming, I would suggest getting a mac.

PC: compatible with most software, games, application in this world... easy, and most of ur friends use PC

MAC: does amazing job with photo/video editing, designing etc. and the gizmo itself is prettier than most PCs.. but, it's not compatible with EVERYTHING! so, it's hard if u're the only person using a mac among ur friends
