I have a Dell Inspirion 700M laptop and I had a virus so I had someone reinstall Windows for me, now I need to reinstall it again and the same person can't help me, what do I need to know before I uninstall and reinstall windows on my laptop? I have a cd with all the drivers he used. How do I reinstall those drivers and get my internet back up (or once I install the driver for my wireless card should I just connect?)

How do I know which is suitable for my pc??
The details for my computer is:
AMN Althlon (tm) XP 2000+. 1.68 GHZ, 480MB of RAM....any help would be appreciated, I'm completely clueless!

I've heard some of my friends say that I have to re-install my OS but I have lost the OS CD... Can you please help me find a way to copy all files (including softwares) from my old 40GB HDD to mu new 160GB HDD...

Note: Plz don't suggest me to use both as there is no free port to connect the old one...

My other computer turns on, but before it can go to Windows XP, I get this error message:

Windows could not start because the following filei s missing or corrupt
\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

Why is it doing this, and what can I do to fix it?
