I have a HP Pavilion a6109n with stock mobo will i be able to use the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 6400+ Black Edition to its full potential ? if not what is the best processor i could get that will be used at it's full potential.

Hi, I am looking to see if such a cable exists. I have seen plenty of leads that convert a Molex Plug to an SATA plug but I need the other way around. My scenario is this that I got a new PC and all the power plugs coming out of the PSU have only SATA power plugs and no Molex plugs at all and I don't want to go changing the power supply unit just to get one with both. I have this perfectly good IDE DVD Writer I want to put into the case and I have found an adapter cable to convert the DATA part from IDE to SATA no problem there but what do I do about power for the IDE DVD Writer if all the power cables coming out of the PSU are SATA only?

I have a PC, which has burning software on it, and I have an old Imac with OS X installed on it. The mac does not have a burning software, so I would be able to burn the .iso onto a disc on that computer.

So I could I download the mac linux, burn it with a pc and then install it on the mac?

i checked my bios as my laptop now takes 30 seconds to boot the bios screen and it looks screwed up. i have an acer aspire 5600 but the bios indicated travelmate under product id. The serial number and the asset tag number are now not there and in their place is a weird character repeated. Its a phoenix bios. also there is now a uuid as FEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFE if that mean anything. i have wiplash and a new bios file and could flash the bios but want a second opinion. also the laptop keyboard became funny since then, the keys sometimes dont register and the touchpad mouse is jerky and not right. thanks in advance

When i go to push the button to activate my macro, it doesnt work and say i get error 1004. asks me if i want to End Debug or cancel.

I can't select a 1400x1050 resolution.
I installed the newest monitor drivers from the internet and tried the supplied CDROM. Both monitor drivers don't help.
I also just installed the newest available drivers for the 810 videochip from the intel-website. Doesn't help, the 1400x1050 resolution is not available.
The 1600x1200 resolution IS available.
But my monitor is a 1400x1050 one.
I have 2 PC's. On my P4 with Nvidia card (and WinXP), i succeeded with using PowerStrip (add 'Custom Resolution').
The other computer, is a P3 with intel 810 onboard. The 810 is NOT supported in PowerStrip: http://forums.entechtaiwan.net/viewtopic.php?t=18

So, my basic question is: is there a general method to add the 1400x1050 resolution to Windows (like with regedit)?

I don't think it will work (because i think the problem is with the VGA driver, not with the monitor driver), but does anyone know a 1400x1050 monitor which is supported by W2K per default?

I'm getting my son a new computer. He's REALLY into gaming, and his current computer is out of date. I'm looking at the processor, and it looks like the speed is slower. My myspace account has been deleted and I don't know why. I definitely didn't break any of the rules or violations. I'm concerned that my personal information might have been hacked into before it was deleted. Is this possible? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have 6 different serial codes/programs. Someone already loaded the suite on the computers - but didn't write down which product key they used for which computer. Is there a way to figure out which computer has which key code. The problem i am having is that when you go to the About Word(or which ever office program) it gives a product id - for some reason it switches from a key - which is on the cd to an ID. Now I have no clue which keys I have available to use! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
