The date and time would always reset to jan 1, 2004 and all previous settings would reset to defaults..in the start up screen after the ide detection these warnings appear:

system loaded default settings due to overclocking....blah blah blah....

ihad never overclocked my cpu...

READ CAREFULLY here. I have a Sharp Aquos 37" LCD TV. There were many different models of the 37" Aquos LCD TV. Some came with a VGA adapter, some came with a DVI (HDMI) adapter, and some didn't come with any. The native resolution is an awkward one. I've connected my computer to this television in every possible way, using every possible cable at every possible resolution. I either get no picture, blurry picture, pixelated picture or ghosted picture. When used as a TV, it is awesome! When used as a monitor, it is very poor. I WANT EVERYONE'S EXPERIENCED OPINION on what they prefer as an LCD TV (not plasma) and I want all the specs too please. I want to know what cable you are using and how it connects. Is it composite, component, DVI/HDMI VGA S-video whatever. I want to know what video card, what resolution on the card AND what the native (preferred/default) resolution is on the LCD TV. What size it the TV, the model # etc. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Normally I work at home on a Mac... but I am freelancing at a small company with PCs... every Friday they pass around a 200+ gig hard drive to back up all our computers... but when I try to back up the "Shared Docs" from the main network server, it has problems. It says some of the file names are too long and doesn't copy them all.

Now this company creates folders inside folders inside folders to 7, 8 or 9 levels deep... and it seems to be that the deeper folders are the ones that the back up drive doesn't like having long names, even though they have long names on the original server.

Is there something someone can tell me? Is it bad to do nested folder after nested folder on a PC? Why? (It's a pain in the butt too, but hey, I didn't set this foolish system up...)

When I brought my computer up today there was no sound. I checked to see if real player is installed. it is. I checked vol control. All Ok no Mutes Ran it with Launchcast and also tried to listen to some radio stations on air. Got nmothing. I do get static from speakers so I know they are on. ASignal just not getting to them.

I have an intel celeron processor. I am not totally sure the model, in the my computer general info section of my computer it says Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.20GHz Speed: 2199 MHz will this work? What would the game play be like (fast? slow? crappy?) and I would really prefer to hear from people with this processor or who really know what they are talking about so I don't buy it and find out that it won't work on my computer.

Alright,you may or may not know that I am a huge Nick Jonas/Jonas Brothers fan. For Nick's birthday,I was going to make one of those Youtube slideshows to one of the songs with birthday message titles. Well,for some reason,the music won't work on Windows Movie Maker, so I asked my mom to research a solution. I thought about it,and decided I could film myself webcam-style reading a poem or something for him. Mom liked the idea,but now I am having second thoughts. I am very internet safety paranoid. Online chats with camp friends have been very awkward. I'm so reserved.I also want to practice what I preach when I do my Girl Scout project on teaching other kids net safety.Am I over-freaked over a simple video or are there other options to just make a slideshow?Help!
