I have an intel celeron processor. I am not totally sure the model, in the my computer general info section of my computer it says Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.20GHz Speed: 2199 MHz will this work? What would the game play be like (fast? slow? crappy?) and I would really prefer to hear from people with this processor or who really know what they are talking about so I don't buy it and find out that it won't work on my computer.

WoW was made to be enjoyed on low-end computers as well. Even integrated graphics cards are supported (Which are crap for everything besides word processing and internet video) and can run the game at an acceptable level of lag. None of your specs should be a problem with WoW. It will run, but it may be slowish. You didn't tell us your graphics card, which is the most important thing to keep in mind while buying games, aside from RAM, but judging from your processor, it is probably an integrated chip set. Eventually you'll want to get a real card, if you want to play different games, but yes, you most likely can play WoW.

In Blizzard''s World of Warcraft, one aspect of creating a Tauren character involves making a decision among four classes; actually, since Hunters have yet to be implemented in the current beta, the available alternatives come down to Warrior, Shaman and Druid. The last of these was introduced in mid-April, in a build that required starting new avatars within the Horde faction, which also includes Orcs, Trolls and Undead. Playing a Druid is only possible for Tauren and Night Elves. The latter was locked out at the time, as were Humans, Dwarves and Gnomes, the other three races that make up the Alliance, and thus my Tauren Druid was born. Although I''ve played at least one character of every race and class, albeit certainly not every possible combination, this is the one that has seen the most playing time to date.

While a Celeron is the bargain version of the Intel Processor line, it should have plenty of processing power to run WoW.

But, the processor is not the only determining factor as to whether or not you will be able to play a game on your computer. Your Video Adapter and amount of Memory or RAM play a pretty important role in your ability to play a video game.

Without that information, I cannot tell you how well your computer will play the game.

It's gonna play crappy. Not sure how much ram you have but the minimum is 512. You also need to have a video card. Pc Games list a minimum and a recommended system requirements list. And almost everytime if your PC only meets the minimum it will play crappy. Chopped, slow, really poor graphics and sound quality. Here is a link to a website which will scan your PC and tell you if your PC meets the minimum or recommended requirements for alot of different games. This site was linked from UBISOFT.com so it's good.

Game performance, especially frame rates is a LOT MORE dependent on the graphics card than on the processor. Your 2.2 Ghz Celeron should perform quite decently with a mainstream graphics card like Geforce 7600 series or ATI's 1600 series. More so if you overclock that Celeron to 2.5-2.8Ghz.

BUT paired with just integrated graphics, FORGET PC games.

pictures card is extremely important to WoW. With a Celeron chip, your CPU heavily isn't lots help while your pictures engine loos down [because it in all probability will] and so which you would be a relentless disadvantage vs different gamers. verify WoW website or gamer magazine web content with information of your video setup for information and relative speeds [frames per 2d would be sensible indicator].
