ip address seem not to work
I can get into the set up in the hawkingtech set up but not into other website
what am I doing wrong?
I 've change ip address and nothing change
I really need this up YESTERDAY

when i put a cd or a game into my drive on the computer nothing happens....it just wont read it.....when i try to manually start it....it doesnt show there is anything in it....is there a setting i can fix???????????

Its shuts down after hours it keep doing this if i want to start the computer it takes me 5 mins and i need this cause if im typing long papers/ essays I don't want to lose information that would be terrible thanks 4 ur help!!

My dog just like 5 mins ago chewed up the wire for the laptop and i was wondering since im trying to doctor it up, if i put transparent tape around the wires will it mess anything up or blow up? or woul d it be fine.

This is the computer i have now.Lightning hit it the other day and fryed the motherboard.Instead of just buying another motherboard i bought a case and it comes with a 450 power-supply.I need to know what type of board you would put into the pc and kinda let me know the difference between the mini, micro and different atx motherboards.I want to use my 939 cpu that i already have and i am running windows xp.

I need help! When it gets to the 'Windows is starting up screen' (the screen before the select user screen) it times out and starts loading settings all over again! It keeps happening!! HOW DO I FIX THIS!!!

I have downloaded a movie in my computer but its size is bigger than the size of my cd in which I want to burn it in. I have heard that DVD shrink and DVD decrypter might be able help so I downloaded them both but not sure if it can lend a hand.

Therefore, can anyone tell me if I would be able to shrink the size of the movie on my computer in order to fit in the cd using this program or not? If yes, can you please tell me how to? I would appreciate useful replies.

Whenever I hit shutdown or restart, my laptop does nothing. I've tried hitting ctrl alt delete twice and other alternatives to no avail. Has anyone heard of this? Is there a program that will restart my laptop or is there a simple way to fix this?

My laptop has built-in wireless, but I was wondering if there was a way to pick up far-away signals. I saw the Linksys Range Expander, but didn't know if it would be useful. Is that product to further expand YOUR own network, or is it to better pick up signal from SOMEONE ELSE's network?
Also, are there any known products or software that can help my laptop pick up distant wireless signals or to make signals stronger?

I used to have a PC game for my computer called Dr Brain. It had games that exercised every part of the brain in different ways, such as music, file sorting, etc. Unfortunately, when we got a new computer, the game was incompatible. I have tried to find a similar game, but nothing, not even the new brain training games come close. Does anyone know if this game can be bought in a format compatible with XP? Or suggest any game that has the same format that will work on XP?

I have an older laptop with wireless capabilities - but it has Win98...

My DSL is connected in my bedroom and for some reason won't work in the other jacks in my house. Is there either a way to just get a really long cord so I can work in my living room, or a way I can set up wireless internet for under 50.00?
