I am guessing you want to know which is best, right?

well, the problem with your question is that the PS3, 360, and wii are next-gen consoles, and the PS2 and gamecube are second gen. (sort of).

It is all a matter of opinion though. starting with PS2 and gamecube, I would say PS2. The gamecube was all party games, and didn't have any more mature games. It was marketed for toddlers. The PS2 had everything, as well as being technologically superior.

As for next-gens, It is very tough. Right now, and I mean only for a short time longer, the 360 would be your best bet. It has a good hold on games, and price, but it isn't the best tech-wise. The wii is all hype. it is fun (in my opinion) for about an hour, and then you don't want to keep needing to swing the remote around. Not only that, but the tech is that of a second-gen console. Nothing new inside. In the long run, the PS3 will be best. It has the most advanced tech, as well as a very good background. Not only that, but the price is scheduled to drop, as well as a great game lineup for 2008.

It is all a matter of opinion. ;)

P.S. you left out xbox from second-gen consoles.

wii or 360. ps3 over heats, the blueray is a joke. the blue ray picture are nothing more but a regular dvd with the brightness turned up. it's an illusion. also it's way over priced. one who can suggest a ps3 to you, really know nothing about electronics or computers.
