so i have to download it or its allready there with windows vista

microsoft .. dx10 requires vista, a dx10 card, a dx10 driver, a game written with dx10, and the dx10 software itself ..

vista should come preloaded with dx10 but you can check by hitting the Windows Key + R and type dxdiag. There you will see what version you have. You can always go to

to download the lastest version.

I believe Vista comes with DirectX 10. Run dxdiag.exe to see what version you have. (Start..Run, type dxdiag)
