Lately my phonleline has been busy even with no one on it. No one can call the house, and when you pick up the phone it just says 'line in use' and is staticy. We've got brand new phoneline, and everything seems to be connected properly. It's almost making the internet d/c randomly on and off. I have DSL, and I do have one of the little white DSL boxes that you hook the phoneline/internet cord into to seperate them. Any idea?

When I try to access files on the host computer (in the network) from the client computer (in the network), it says this:
\\(host computer name) is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The network name cannot be found.

When I get on the host computer, and try to access the client computer's files, it works completely fine.

I'm not sure, but I also think this is why I can't get my client computer to be able to print in the network (printer is connected to the host). I do add printer, and go to the network, type the printer name, click next, then a password pop-up thing comes up. My host doesn't have a password at all XD... when i try to let if find the network printer, it doesn't come up at all (it used to)... how do I fix all this?!?

Please help me, and please describe the steps on how to fix this like... clearly :)

Im thinking of buying an EVGA 8800GTS 320MB, but I don't know if my power supply is adequate enough for it. According to my power supply at the moment (Speedfan) here are the voltages:

+2.5: 1.47V
Vcore: 1.27V
+3.3: 3.35V
+5: 5.12V
+12: 12.06V

I know it says on the item description that it needs to have a minimum of 400watts/+12V rating of 26amps, im just not sure if my power supply can get up that high with the +12V rating and not sure how many watts it can put out. I looked on 3 different sides of the power supply for a readoff of the ratings, but I didnt see them. Im guessing its either on the side thats blocked from my view,cause its IN my computer, or theres no list of ratings. Please can someone tell me if you think it can handle an 8800gts or am I gona need to get one?

The 210 is so awesome cuz it's so small but the 410 might be a bit better tech wise and more upgradeable..
which should I get? would I be happy with the 210?

Trying to make this as simple as possible. I have 30 or so classes that I need to get access to depending which one is showing. To make things easy, let's say I have three classes as members of another class:
Class1, Class2 and Class3.
I only show one at a time. All three have a method called "UpdateData." I need to make a call to UpdateData in whatever one is showing (or active).
How can I hold a reference to the active class so I can make the call? IE, instead of doing something like:
if (Class1.isActive)
Class1.UpdateData()
else if (Class2.isActive)
Class2.UpdateData()
Remember, I have 30 classes. I just want to hold the active class' reference somehow to call it only once. Something like:
ActiveClass[n].UpdateData()
I could add all of the classes in there and then hold the active class as an integer "n." I can't use Vector or anything because that requires a cast to use. I need the class to change. I can't figure this out. Thanks for any help.

The only difference is that the Intel Centrino is a pre-figured combination of a wireless card and other hardware for laptops, is that right?

So which would be better...say for example, I'm deciding between a Dell laptop with a Core 2 Duo, or a HP laptop with a Centrino Core 2 Duo?

Are laptops with the Centrino name usually cheaper, since the main hardware is Intel's? And would that mean it's quality isn't as good?

In a Oracle procedure, I have an update statement like:

UPDATE employee
SET salary = 1000
WHERE dept_no = 10;

I want it to set a variable (that I can use later) or pop up a message telling me how many records were actually updated in that statement.

How can I do that?
