I'm trying to make myself a wallpaper as my desktop but I'm not sure what size my computer monitor is. Is there a way I can find out? Or, can someone give me some of the standard (If there are) dimensions for monitors. Thanks beforehand!

Go into your operating systems display preferences. The resolution is what you want.

You don't have to worry about that. If you right click on an open spot on you desktop, and select properties. The first window you see will have your screen resolution on there for you. then select either desktop or wallpaper and there is a check box that says "stretch". That will fill you screen with your image.

The advertised screen size is an approximate diagonal measurement. So the actual diagonal of the screen may be something like 23.5", and if docs say the monitor (not the screen or display) is 22.8" wide, that should include everything.

Get a tape measure and measure from the lower left corner to the upper right corner and you have the size of your monitor screen.
