To the best of my knowledge, no, they're not supposed to be able to do that - cookies can tell a site what site you just came from, but not your whole browsing history.
Then again, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in it being "impossible" for someone to view your recent history online. I kinda doubt just anyone could, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were security backdoors that'd allow someone "authorized" to see your history.

Then, the only way they can see is if they had survielance on you, or if there was a system restore save point between the time you looked at 'it' and when you erased it. So basically no, unless you have a 'hacker' viewing what you are looking at.

Yes, happens all the time with the tracking cookies that most browsers demand you turn on. As for a personal friend. Naaah. Unless they are hackers.

its also possible if they have a trojan horse virus installed on your computer which would let them moniter anything and everything that you do if they wanted to.
