First of all I don't play high end PC games or anything, but do everything else.
The 210 is so awesome cuz it's so small but the 410 might be a bit better tech wise and more upgradeable..
which should I get? would I be happy with the 210?

Absolutely go with the 410, you will thank yourself if you ever want to upgrade. The size of the 210 makes just about any upgrade you do a pain.
Now as a piece of advice, you may consider looking at some of the Inspiron desktops, if you are not a gamer you might be able to configure one of those to meet your needs, and save a few dollars in the process.

The 210 is a headache to service.
Plus, once the warranty runs out, the parts are much more expensive than standard PC parts. Especially the power supply which is the component most likely to fail, other than a dial-up modem.
I would go for the 410 just to save you the headache in the long run.
