when u buy a wireless laptop does it already have the internet on it, or do u still have to pay a monthly fee? also if you do have 2 connect it how do u do it my friend is saying somethin bout phone lines but how do people have internet on their laptops on trains.

basically i wanna buy a laptop with the internet on so i can take it abroad with me, can i do that?

WHY is the 10 key "upside down", and the phone and fax machines are opposite?? it can get annoying when u are at work and doing things fast.... i can type 70wpm, but when i fax i find that i sometimes put the wrong #! argh!

i just got this laptop on 9-21-06 its a upgraded dell latitude . It isnt working slowly or anything but when i shut down or start up my account it does what it normaly does a black screen but this time it has like a road desighn but in black and white my lp starts up and works fine but i had a virus scan done it found the backdoor virus and deleted it. help me i use this lp for everything. im doing a scan now it says 0. but still its a norton spywear scan but it finds viruses and deledtes them. i use avg free 7.1 and it wont let me updtae or anything but it says i need to . I have a program that allows people to come onto my lp and fiz things is this a good idea-skye,15,knows about comps.-plz help i use myspace,neopets,msn messenger,aim, and geekstinkbreathnet are these viral places

Yesterday my internet speed was apparently upgraded from 2MB to 8MB and BT estimated that it would operate around 5.5MB. However I've gone to several websites that can test the speed and they all test it to be around 1MB. Are BT lying to me or are these websites unreliable?

k I doubt you'll be able to help but anyway. I woke up yesterday morning and my computer wouldn't connect to the internet (I have a wireless card and a wireless network, it usually is always connected). I've tryed restoring it but of course that didn't work.

The thing is, my computer DETECTS the wireless network, but when I click Connect, it says it's doing it, but it never connects.

so it reads the wireless network, it just won't connect to it. and I have no idea what's wrong with it.

any ideas?

I have just carried out another test on my Canon printer using cartridges that cannot be refilled. Using a light setting I managed to get 90 sheets of paper out of the colour cartridge that cost me £16.95. The image is equal to 2/3rds A4. A computer motherboard can be purchased for as little as £20 so how come a few drops of ink in a plastic container can cost so much? The answer, these Japanese, Taiwanese and American syndicates are cheating the world out of millions of dollars every day and I want to expose them. Anyone want to help me?

I am looking around for a computer for my son for Christmas which will largely be used for gaming, but also for homework. I have found one with a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 6100 graphics card. How good will this be, do you think? Or would it be better to spend another £150 and have a 7500 card. All advice appreciated.
