Because it is fun!!! That's the way the game is played.. If nobody asked any questions, then we would not have, an answers game to do..Sometimes a question, cannot be found on a search engine. Something personal, like should I marry my boyfriend, even though he doesn't have a job? Some common knowledge is needed, for some answers..

This is a two-part question.
1. "Why". “Why?” is a very good question. It has been discussed for thousands of years. Socrates asked Plato. Plato asked Homer. Homer asked Jethro. None of them could answer the question “WHY?”.
2. ”Should I ask you people a question when you can find the answers online through a simple search?” Yes, It gives me the opportunity to pick up 12 points.

Everyone uses different search engines and you may get an answer that you wouldn't have found...

Better for opinion questions I would not ask factual questions. Could you have answered that question in google search? This is my opinion. :)
