Hi, nothing come with the internet on it - the internet is MASSIVE.
What you are looking for is a laptop with a wireless adapter.
This will receive transmissions allowing access to the internet.
The transmitter if you like, is a wireless router, that is connected to a phone, ideally broadand or ISDL. This will usually have a monthly line rental charge.
People using laptops for internet in trains or coffee shops, are connecting to the trains/shops wireless routers. There is usually an hourly charge to do this, and it is quite pricey.
If cost is an object, you would be better using cyber cafes abroad.

specific, you're in a position to do what you describe. you will ought to prefer to purchase 2 ethernet cables long sufficient to connect your computers to the on the spot router that you bought. the relationship is from an ethernet card on your computers (look for the hollow that looks like a telephone jack, yet extremely better) to a sort of four jacks on the lower back of your new router. Your modem will connect (cable) to the router, no longer a working computer or computer. Your computer will ought to prefer to be waiting to log onto the on the spot router--and you're in a position to prefer to end a splash themes to guard it, rather while you're in a dorm, else all your friends will use it, too. Get some help putting it up--yet you're in a position to prefer to call the community something diverse than the default call service via using the producer, turn off the printed of the community (or your device) call, use MAC filtering, and optimal extreme--use WPA encryption, with a solid key (password), something no longer genuinely guessed or broken.

Yes ... you have to pay monthly or pay as you go. But .... you have to wait another 9 months and so on that you can use internet like you do use mobile phone. All major computer companies are producing the new labtops with little receiver. No need of wire, infrareds or any additional plugins. Please be patience.

you can but you will need to plug it into a phone line if there are no wireless routers. wireless on a laptop only works if your withion a certain distance of a router and you must know the router id number to connect to it.
