I am also going to take networking, the classes overlap, and I can get both degrees in 3 years. I just want some feedback from programmers, tell me what you think!

i have using myfish4 and hendon times cvquest to look for work and the jobcentre were quite happy wiht my efforts to find work-thing is its giving me a real headache as sometimes the jobsearch does not work and sometimes the email log in does not work and you never know what screen will come up or how results will come up but as this is a commercial site it seems strange that it is so badly screwed up .problem is that i become obsessed by it as i am convinced that it will eventually work or that it is partly my fault
help me to unhook from this problem as its value as a typing exercise is now coming to an end

I have a wireless Systemax laptop and a Linksys G wireless router. My laptop recently is only able to get a low signal if that. I did some troubleshooting on my laptop and found the following:

MiniPCI Wireless Network Adapter (Failed)
DefaultIPGateway (Failed)
DHCPServer (Failed)
DNSServerSearchOrder (Failed)

Please help and advised if I should send the laptop to repaired under warranty or if this can be easily fixed. (all other computers in the can connect to the network).

I have a mysterious problem with my slides that started about 2 weeks ago. I have several “standard” slides I use for a variety of presentations and all of a sudden the fonts changed! I went in and “fixed” the fonts and saved the presentation by adjusting the master slide. When i re-opened the document, the fonts defaulted to Times New Roman or Tahoma from Ariel. No matter what I do to the slides, I cannot change the font and make it stick. Not only that but the justification in text boxes changes to left from center. Any ideas as to what's happening?

I have a pretty good grasp of computer literacy, but this is just bugging the heck out of me and thought some outside eyes may recongize some little quirk i'm overlooking.

EX: I want to find a site that helps me find bargains like which is more cost effective to buy, dollar for dollar; koolaid, frozen juice,
sports drinks or bottled. All I can come up with is Shopzilla, best buys here or there, order on line. you know? What am I doing wrong?
I do find it helps to put the word "free online" in my search criteria.

I share a house with other tennants but we are trying to find the best way in getting broadband in between 2 computers both being in our own rooms. Obviously our rooms are kept private and thus it doesnt make sense to use one computer as the main one because either person may be not in the house. Living in Dublin there is a broad range of different broadband packages but I am unsure which one will allow for the use of two computers so we can also share the cost between us.

I just bought a brand new Fujitsu laptop and someone told me that I better get a cooling pad for it from my local electronics shop. They said that laptops can get very warm, and can cause problems that way. I have seen the laptop cooling pads with little fans or some deal like that...but I find it hard to believe that the manufacturers would ALL continue to make a product that when used normally...needed an additional device or else...MELTDOWN. Are the legit? Thanks!
