EX: I want to find a site that helps me find bargains like which is more cost effective to buy, dollar for dollar; koolaid, frozen juice,
sports drinks or bottled. All I can come up with is Shopzilla, best buys here or there, order on line. you know? What am I doing wrong?
I do find it helps to put the word "free online" in my search criteria.

LOL!
Such a site would be wonderful, but they don't exist! The reason why is that advertisers pay the websites to post their stuff on the site for you to see. If a site is free of these advertisements, you most likely are paying the website out of your own pocket for the exclusive access. The website has to make money and ads are the easiest way to do that. Just ignore the ads, many quality sites have ads on them and they are still worth your time. Just remember, nothing in life is free. :)

One of the problems with finding such a site is regional differences in pricing. A 12 oz can of Pepsi could cost between 25¢ and $1.25 based upon area of country, convenience store vs. supermarket chain, over the counter vs. vending machine, etc. As others have suggested, ignore the ads and concentrate on the information.

Almost all the sites you'll find are advertiser-driven. Which means you'll get the ads, reviews that are skewed depending on who pays the most money to the website, etc. That's how the web host makes his money. For what you want, you'd have to pay for a service (such as Consumer Reports, etc.). Truth is, I don't know of any subscription service that does what you want. I'm afraid your stuck with what you've found already.

You have to put extra words in your search that would not be on a bargain ad site, lets think. Like "review" "research" "compared to" etc.. you could also skip 20 pages down the search result maybe
