By the way, i am using a mac, so i have a less chance of getting any sort of viruses, but i don't know if it's worth it.

I do Limewire on a mac from home, and I have picked up a virus. I had to run a couple of programs on it to clean it, nothing major, no loss of data. But it can happen. If anything looks suspicious, like a movie that is only 900K or a song that's only 123K, skip it/avoid it. Other than that...

No, it's not. The one time I ever picked up a virus was with Limewire, and I have a Mac. I would stay away from it.

Don't use it!!! My friends computer crashed while using limewire. Spend that whopping 99 cents a download off of itunes and spare yourself the headache of a ruined hard drive.

limewire is not safe it can destroy your hole computer system. you can pick up viruses even if you have an anti virus program the safest thing to do is not download music it is bets for the health of your computer

It is safe. Just make sure that its sae to download. For example don't download programs they sometimes come with viruses.
