I would like to send a picture of myself via e-mail. How can I scan pictures to send via e-mail ?

you will need a photo scanner. you can buy them prettty cheap nowadays at any electronics store. if you dont want to buy one, stores like copymax or kinkos will do it for you for a small fee.

Place your picture in a scanner n then paste that in a folder now when u want to send via e-mail just go to the compose options there u can find attach files at the bottom left press that now brouse where ur photo graph is n attach the file n send that via e-mail

You can scan pictures only through a scanner.
You might like to visit some friend or a cyber cafe to do that if you do not have a scanner at home.

If you know how to scan the image in, save it on your hard drive and just add it to your email as an attachment.
That'll do it.
Oh, you MIGHT want to make sure it's not TOO big or it'll take a long to to send/receive...especially if either user has a dial-up connection.

do you have a scaner? if you do scan the picture and then save it in to a folder in My Picture. When you are on your mail. click attach and then choose fromm options.
