Scandisk detected an invalid long filename entry on this drive,but was unable to fix it.

I have tried looking in the help manual for tips but it doesn't help much. I have a pretty crappy on board sound card, but an excellent outboard M-Audio sound card. I also just upgraded my RAM so I know it's not that.

I have 2 desktop computers in my home. neither has a wireless card. I only have 1 phone jack in the living room, and one cable TV in there as well. One computer is in the bedroom, the other is in the study. i want the internet wireless. Is there away to make a dasktop wireless that is not invasive? I dont want to take this aprat or pay big cash. I know lap tops have a special slot for a wireless card to plug in if they are not made with one.

Please if you can give a link to a site to support your answer, id really appreciate it.

i have 1 agp 4x/8x video board on a ga-k8vnxp mobo. The amd is a athalon 63 3000 running at 2.0. I want to upgrade the video card but dont know what specifications i need to look for in a new card other than it has to fit in a agp slot. Any suggestions on how to shop and what to look for? Any suggestions on a card? my current card is 2 years old and never was top of the line.

I am replacing my ghetto built PC, and am wondering if I should try going the way of the iMAC. I know jack about **** when it comes to computing, but live in a family of know-it-alls and they all swear up and down that PC is the way to go. I am not a gamer, I don't do business type ****. I use the internet, word processing, digital photos, and that's about it. I have looked on craigslist, and can find an iMAC G3 for about $100. Ok Ok, so its outdated, but can it give me the idea of what operating a Mac is like? And would it be worth the investment? I don't have the money to go buy a $1200 computer only to find out I can't use the damn thing. But I can float a c-note. Ok, so to recap, because I am lost right now:

!. Are macs any good?
2. Are they harder to use than a PC, or just different?
3.Can I learn the language on a used iMAC G3?
4. Do I look fat in this avatar?

I posted a question under another user I have about a month ago or something like that. It was just a simple question. "Macs: love them, or hate them?" and explain why, of course. I totally forgot about it because I rarely log in as that user, but I did tonight, and the question's gone?
