i was recently given a better pc than my old one the tower is an ex office one.it was emptied and i up'd the ram to 512 and put xp on it and have the free versions of avg and ad-aware on it.before getting ad-aware avg found 4 trojans but didnt heal them so they are in quarrantine.how do i shift them?also sometimes my broadband randomly goes off and the only way to get it back is to unplug it and start the system back up.could this be to do with the viruses?

every time i load up Norton tells me that kazaa is trying to install i have got rid of everything i can find but it still won't go! I'm housesitting and i don't want it to be there when they get back! HELP!! I know its not put any viruses on there but its just a pain to have to remove it using Norton each time! Any help please!

i have a SATA hard drive and want to put it into an external bay. i have both,BUT the external bay is parralell and the drive is SATA, is it possible to cheaply convert it over with an invertor. just so you know to give you it all, the bay needs pins and the drive needs a standard sata connector, and i have tried ebay but i cant find the right one

I tryed to compress a folder using the compressed folder program in my windows XP but the results have not been interesting. The existing program compressed the folder from 7 MB size to only 5 MB. The question is how do I compress this folder to less than 1 MB to make it email friendly?
