i have a SATA hard drive and want to put it into an external bay. i have both,BUT the external bay is parralell and the drive is SATA, is it possible to cheaply convert it over with an invertor. just so you know to give you it all, the bay needs pins and the drive needs a standard sata connector, and i have tried ebay but i cant find the right one

closest i've found..maybe just look for a diff ext enclosure too..

You would be better off buying a SATA enclosure for about the same price as an adaptor. The way you would keep the speed of the SATA drive rather then reducing it to ATA.
