How do I zip a folder which size is 7 MB to less than 1MB?

I tryed to compress a folder using the compressed folder program in my windows XP but the results have not been interesting. The existing program compressed the folder from 7 MB size to only 5 MB. The question is how do I compress this folder to less than 1 MB to make it email friendly?

The way file compression works is that it removes "white space" and other unneeded items from the file and can do some further reduction with pictures. But it has a limit. A reduction in file size from 7mb to 5mb is about what you would expect. To reduce a file to only 1/7th its original size is an unrealistic goal. I am not aware of anything that can reduce a file that dramaticly.
