I use internet online radio at office and was told lately that it reduces speed so i should stop using it.

your max datarate in is probably 5 mbps each way ... so data in is data in ,, you are using part of that bandwidth for streaming data ... so yes, it will impact your speed, and maybe everyone else's speed since your data rate takes from the available bandwidth at the gateway ... if everyone streamed radio, you might bring the entire internet connection to a standstill at the gateway

Yes - it will reduce speed for everyone else because you're using up bandwidth.

A good way to think about bandwidth is imagine your broadband connection as a motorway at rush hour. Performing major downloads is the equivalent of closing a lane on a motorway. You know the congestion that results simply by closing a lane. That is what happens to your download speed.

Admittedly, motorways only have 3 or 4 lanes, but the principal is the same.

It uses bandwidth yes, but in an office where they have decent internet connections, it's not not really going to affect the speed as most audio streams are compressed a great deal.

it will affect your internet speed, if the bitstream of the radio is very high....so if it is, then you can slow down the internet considerably
