ya so I want to get a seprate box that can scroll inside my profile so I can put a long list of bands in it or any writing so it wont take up the whole page and it will be cooler, im not sure where to get one or what its called ive tried plenty of sites already so if you have any ideas. or know what im talking about post.

I have no network listed to choose from to connect to (only an old dial up account) although other computers are connected to the wireless network in my office .. I have tried replacing the network card but no light comes on on the card itself - any clues would be soooo much appreciated..

If I go to Start, then Turn Off, the computer turns off and can be turned on again with no problems. If I go to Start, then Turn Off, then Restart, I get the music that you hear when windows shuts down, the monitor goes blank, but the computer never actually turns off, or restarts. Any ideas? this just started happening. I have done a spyware scan and virus scan, and I don't have any.

I've got a NetGear MR814 router and I'm looking to query it to get my ip address from my provider without going into the router software. Does this make sense? I need it to remotely connect to my system. If I can get the IP, I can ftp it to myself elsewhere. Any help would be appreciated!

I broke my old laptop so I'm looking to
buy a new one (probably an HP).

I don't do any gaming, but I do watch
videos, listen to music, and do some
photo editing and graphic designs.

Mostly, I use my laptop to do school work
and surf the Internet.

Which processor would you suggest?
The price difference is about $70.
1.60 GHz duo is available for $45 more, also.

I uploaded this video today, but when I watch it, it stops playing before the end, at 35 out of 37 seconds. So the share and replay buttons and the related videos don't pop up. Does this happen when you watch it on your computer? Here's the video:

We have a guy at work who has an excel spreadsheet with about 8 tabs, he would like Just the tabs to be different colors so when he emails it to the client, he can tell them, just be concerned with the red tabs, or yellow tabs etc.....

I upgraded this computer from windows me to windows xp. I had to put a new power button on it and I put it in a different case. After I hooked up the moniter, usb keyboard, usb mouse it will not load windows.
