go into your favorites folder and delete it
typically c:\documents and settings\(your user id here)\favorites\(either in a folder u created or sitting here in lexico order)
then go trash your trash (recycle bin) and it will be gone
UNLESS you have some malware that is running ... you might want to do a check if u are having serious issues deleting a bookmark

How did you try to delete the bookmark? I've had no trouble - yet.
click Bookmarks
cl Edit/Import
You will get a list of bookmarks.
cl in the box of the bookmark you wish to delete
then cl Delete

I've never tried this but you could put it through your paper shredder and then light a match to the shreds. That would probably do the trick.
