i am a wow addict have a mac and am lazy and never upped my ram.
I usally dont have much of a problem, walking through ironforge is annoying, and on 40 man raids i sometimes turn down all spell effects and stuff.
I also dont see some of the beauty of wow b/c of my lowered settings in general but yea, more ram would cure it.
I love wowing from my bed. very comfy.

WOrld of warcraft is not good for academics however.
Ill study once i finish this raid/quest/get 20 more runecloth...
