My daughter is away at school. She has admitted blocking my emails to one of her email addresses. How can I find out if she is now blocking them to both addresses? Or is she simply ignoring them?

Well, some emails return the emails to sender if it was blocked. I had one of those before saying it's "undeliverable."

Wrong question, sorry for that....Having your daughter already blocked one of her emails to your mail just proves the relation you have with her is really at a low. Finding out if she has blocked her second email is irrelevant to the problem. There is a problem between both, you and your daughter, and the problem has you at the roots, not in her. If you want to salvage your relation you better start getting some hard answers on your side, you may even ignore what questions you have to ask yourself. Get a counselor to first work with you on you on a first stage, then when you have found out the roots of the problem and you have decided to take actions on yourself, then engage on what steps you will have to follow to rescue your relation. Good luck, much is at stake.

So far as I know, if someone has you blocked, the message is dumped and the sender is not notified. Below is taken from Yahoo Mail Help.

"Blocked addresses are email addresses that you do not want to receive any mail from. All incoming mail from these addresses will be automatically disposed of, without bouncing back to the sender. When you remove an address from your Blocked Addresses list, you will once again be able to receive mail from that address. "

The suggestion I have is to send the message which requires the person on the other end to send you a receipt when they open and read your message.

You can request a receipt by going to your Tools menu and selecting Request a Receipt.

Best of luck to you.

hmmm i'm thinking you're stalking someone and they aren't your daughter. learn to take NO for an answer and you wont worry about email.

and if for some odd reason the person u speak of really is your daughter - work on something called a relationship instead of taxing your brain on email systems.

Unless your system or her system sends you a message saying she blocked it, there is no way to know unless you are a skilled tracer of e-mails on the net. I don't personally know how to do it.

ru a stalker??? when you send the message, click on tools and select "send message reciept"
When the email opens at the other end, the reciever is asked to verify they have recieved the message, they can sidestep this tho..
