I've tried Premiere but for some reason everytime I import the divx file it crashes with some error and closes and I can't do anything with it. Maybe it's because it's a divx file? All I want is to write subtitles for the movie I have, isn't there a simple and light-weight program to do that? Or do I have to find some converter to turn the divx file into something else that I can work with on Premiere?

Her computer was ruined during last huracaine. She is 68 and doesn't know much about computers & not very inclined to learn much at this point but all her children and grandchildren live far away so she wants to keep in touch via e-mail. What is an economical and simple computer to handle? ( I want to make a smart purchasing without buying stuff she doesnt need nor will use) The only thing she will use it for is to receive and send e-mails and watch YouTube videos we make for her, and once in a while type a letter in word perfect. She'll freak out if it looks very complex. And I want to buy it for Christmas but budget is modest. Suggestions of brands and styles and online shops appreciated!

I have a quite long worddocument (>100 pages) where I want to to be able to jump back to the table of contents on every page to facilitate browsing.
I thought of bookmarking the TOC and put the bookmark link in the footer of the document but it even though the bookmark link is seen/acknowledged (the marker turns into a pointing finger when the mouse is put over the bookmark name), clicking it does not work (since it is in the footer?).

Does anyone have a better suggestion on how to put a "back to toc"-link on every page in the document? I work with MS Words 2000.

They are forcing anybody who want's to sell into declaring themselves a business , so if you want to sell something worth £1 you must sell it for at least £3 to make about 30p profit !

Their selling advertisement space so half of what you look at isn't actually for sale ,

Talk about opening yourself up for competition , how long do you think they'll last when an intelligent person opens a similar site ?

i am currently having a problem with my adsl connection. when i start downloading and when the downloads exceed 40 kb/s it usualy disconnects me.My modem-router is Level one WBR-3407A 11g wireless adsl modem-router.When i get disconnected from the lan all my pcs on lan are disconnected too. anyone can help?

I've been informed that, even if I clear my pc's history and delete temporary history files and cookies, there may still be hidden files kicking about my computer? If this is so, how do you locate these or delete them? Is there a program I can use, or can i do this manually (beaing in mind I'm not mega PC literate!)

My mother sent me some pictures of my nephew via attachment in an email. I have Adobe worksop and the pictures opened up with the use of that program. There are arrows below the picture that indicated more pictures I clicked on it and got a LOT of porm pictures. Were these porn pics sent from my mom's computer when she sent the baby's pictures or were these already on my computer and these new pictures were thrown in with them. Please only serious answers because my marriage maybe on the line if the porn pics came from my husband's downloading.
