First, don't pay for Anti-Virus software, there are plenty of free software available, and the top bunch are much better than the software you have to pay for!
Do not touch Norton or McAfee. They are atrocious at finding virues, and in Nortons case it can really slow down your PC.
AVGFree is very good buut there is an even better new kid on the block and it's ActiveVirus Shield. It is made by Kaspersky for AOL and not only is it free it is exactly he samea s KAspesrkys version bar the look.
Being the same software, they both ranked #1 in recent tests.

NOD32 by Eset has won loads of awards. I swear by it.
I recently saw a list of best anti virus programmes and NOD was the top. I think they have won 68 awards now for being 100% virus proof. Do not believe that all anti virus are the same, they arn't!

"The most popular brands of antivirus on the market (Norton, mcafee etc)… have an 80 percent miss rate… malware authors are specifically testing their Trojans and viruses to make sure they can bypass these applications before releasing them in the wild"

The person above me has no brain, he's telling you to use an old outdated version of Norton? WTF. Firefox is not an anti-virus application its a browser.
Firefox leaves Viruses? WTFFFF

I find AVG Free the best free anti-virus software.
But don't forget that you need other protection too!
I use ZoneAlarm as my [free] firewall
and Spyware Terminator [also free] to stop spyware, adware, etc.
These 3 pieces of software combine brilliantly to keep your PC safe and secure, for free!
Also, they are all "auto-updating".

An antivirus program is only as good as the user is at updating it. They are all just as good as each other so long as you keep updating daily. I use AVG free edition, I have used Nortons for years and before that I used McCaffees I have also use Avast but they are all as good as each other.

reverse phone number search compiles hundreds of millions of phone book records to help locate the owner's name, location, time zone, email and other public information.
Use a reverse phone lookup to:
Get the identity of an unknown caller.
Identify an area code.
Recall the name of a person whose number you wrote down.
Identify an unfamiliar phone number that shows up on your bill.
