My mother sent me some pictures of my nephew via attachment in an email. I have Adobe worksop and the pictures opened up with the use of that program. There are arrows below the picture that indicated more pictures I clicked on it and got a LOT of porm pictures. Were these porn pics sent from my mom's computer when she sent the baby's pictures or were these already on my computer and these new pictures were thrown in with them. Please only serious answers because my marriage maybe on the line if the porn pics came from my husband's downloading.

The reason why my marriage maybe on the line is because of the type of porn that I found makes me worried about my five year old duaghter. I wouldn't divorce him over simple porn pics.

First of all. Never came up with somethin like "because my marriage maybe on the line if the porn pics came from my husband's downloading." because a lot of spyware, adware etc. can be downloaded without notice or without visting of porn sites. Those link can be from your PC but it can even from senders PC. First thing to do is to get som Internet security software. Like Norton internet security, Zone labs, Mcaffe etc. And puttin mariage on line cause of few porn pics is a little bit crazy.

Don't know much about your mothers computer, buy your should be easy enough to check. Go to the start menu and click on the search link. Under the search options, select Pictures, Music, or Video. You can type *.* in the field selection, but this will list all pictures, video, and music loaded. Then again you might want to know what is on there.
When you see any, read the file locations, if it is a temporary type folder, Temp, Temporary Internet Files, etc...they most likely came with the email. BUT IF THEY ARE IN A SPECIAL FOLDER, or In My-Documents....then somebody probably put them there. There could be a virus that installs to My-Documents, also check to see the date they were created at that location, by right clicking an image, and looking at the properties info. If it is older than the date it should have come to the house in the email.
I will say this one more time to help you understand, some PORN VIRUS / ADWARE programs are pretty sophisticated and will load links to sites, in your favorites, the pop-ups will not go away till your credit card info is typed in, or you make a puchase. These sites can be very bad images from every known type of porn getting progressively worse with each closed window, and most create multiple pages for each page closed.
Give your husband the benifit of the doubt, but if you check the location of the files and see a folder that sounds like something your man would say or call something sexual...chances are he put them there! Like if he calls you Hot Mamma, and the files are in a folder called Hot Mamma's...you get the idea, somebody had to creatre that file, and the viruses arent that smart yet. They can make files, and folders but not call them anything we would call someone else, just not that personal yet.
Hope this helps you...email if you need more info or more on these weird viruses, I deal with them for clients all the time.

Forget everything that was said here:
1. Go ask your husband, don't get into a fight, ask him to say honestly "yes" or "no"
2. Porn pictures can come from 1000000 different places, once i opened a forum to ask a question and i downloaded something, from that site, and with it came like 1000 viruses...
Malicious stuff can come from 1000 different place, as soon as you open a port for download they will track it and send stuff with it..
So probably ur husband has nothing to do with the porn and maybe he has.
Wish u luck

It is possible that the porn pix could have been sent from someone looking at porn on your mothers PC. I'm not trying to be funny, but I actually sent some normal pix to my sister, (I use to look at porn on my PC), and guess what happened...
Even though I did not send porn pix they somehow attached themselfs to my email that I sent to my sister.
Ahhhhhh...It was terrible
I don't look at porn anymore on my PC

I'm not familiar with that program but it sounds like it would mean they were already downloaded into the program that you use. That would mean your husband I assume had to download them or someone sent them to him.
