working write now cus it's not working for me and that sucks!!

I have two computers. One is a laptop running Windows 2000 operating system, with wireless Internet access. It is faster downloading material from the Internet. The second computer, a desktop computer, is running Windows XP home edition. I want to download program installers on my laptop in XP format, without opening them, and transfer them to my XP operating system desktop computer, using a 4 GB flash drive. Will that work? Can I download XP versions installers on my Windows 2000 machine and then transferred the program to my XP desktop and then run them?

I want to echo a small script in php. But when i echo the script instead of it just showing the script thats in the echo it actually performs it. I know you can use ' ' to make the whole string literal but i also have variables in the echo string of which the values i want to be shown. ' ' dosnt show the variables. values. Does anyone know a script that shows the code without it performing but still have variables in the string which show their values.

Basically its for a news site, people select the script from my site, put it on theirs and news events are shown on their site.

I am validating my web-page and I get this error:

Error Line 190 column 49: an attribute value must be a literal unless it contains only name characters.

How should I desgnate the value of the attribute to be a function? Should I use ""? ex: onMouseOver="homeHover()"

Everything works fine on the webpage, but while validating it, I get this error.

Every time I open a document within Microsoft Word, the text (that is supposed to be showing up in a size 12 font) shows up in size 10 font, with no formatting.

Now here's the weird part: When I re-open the same document by using just the drop-down menu, it opens up absolutely fine, with my original formats and all!

I have an application called FlashPaper installed to print documents in .swf format, but I don't think it is that. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

I use TalkTalk with "free" broadband. It's not up to speed yet. The speed tends to vary. But all broadband does. On a busy time it can go down to 300K but does go up to 2 meg. When the new ADSL equipment is in the exchanges I should get 8 meg. Have you had good or bad experiences with it? Do you think it's worth the money. £20.99 for free phone calls to the UK, EU, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Broadband? I'm not complaining. I downloaded the trialare virsion of Norton system works. The program istalled ok, i was prompted to restart and did so. Now my computer wont boot up at all. In the Bios the order of boot is 1.floppy 2 hdd 3. cd. I've changed this order a few times with no luck. I have no boot cd , my computer came loaded with Windows XP so i don't have the disk. i thought it may be trying to boot from my LAN network so i disabled that , and still no luck. i checked the size of my HDD and my capacity is 160 and there's only 136 available so I know my operating system is still there.

Can i make a boot up disk from another computer with XP ? he has no floppy drive can i do it from cd ?

Any other idea's would be greatly appreciated...

I am running Diskeeper 10 Professional Premier, and when I scan one of my hard drives (250GB SATA) it says: "The MFT usage is currently 99 percent of the total MFT size, which indicates it is likely the MFT will become fragmented."

What exactly does this mean? I have ran the defrag yet the message is still there saying "Warning"

The drive has plenty of space on it: 23% free in fact.
