how can i find the problem or the file it needs to load messenger on my computer. what could possibly be wrong. H E L P.

Uninstall Yahoo messenger and reinstall. Thats your best option.
Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/remove Yahoo Messenger.
Then download the latest yahoo messenger (I assume it's Yahoo) and that should take care of it.

Uninstall it, then delete the folder, and if you know how go into your registry and look for the program and delete its values, then reinstall!!!
