It is an HP Deskjet 3745, model number VCVRA-0202. Where can I find free software so that I can load it onto my computer, or how can I install it so that I can use the printer on my computer?

Better yet, just go to HP site and download the drivers from their site.

It didn't come with the software? I would say to check online, whether at HP's website or any other site. I find it strange, unless you got the printer used from somebody, that it didn't come with the software. I've pretty much alsways had HP printers, and they've come with the software included.

go to hp and hit the support/downloads section and download the driver package for your Deskjet 3745 printer, or you can check out www.driverguide.com or even better www.driveragent.com
