I have deleted files in the recycle bin, done a disk cleanup, defrag it and have remove a few installed programs but didn't get the free space i was expecting with the uninstalling i have done. Any suggestions to get rid of those old unwanted files left in my laptop.
Is there a safe free software that i can download that's comptible with window xp? I'm not a computer expert, so an simple instruction will be much appreciated. Thanks

I received an email, supposedly from Yahoo, notifying me that I have won $ 500. I am supposed to click on the link that will take me to your web page regarding the lottery, and follow the instructions for giving you the info necessary to deposit this in my PayPal, StormPay, e-gold or Money Bookers account. Before I click on the link, I thought I 'd better check it out first. Thanks

I use it primarily for my studies at University (light, quiet, long lasting battery, wireless card), but also as a desktop replacement. It has to work both in Europe (Germany) and the USA (keyboard? connections?), because I constantly travel back and forth.
my budget is up to $1300.
Would it be better to buy it in the US or in Germany?
Which one would you recommend/what do I need to look for?
What about the new microsoft Vista?

I know 8x AGP cards are backwards compatible with 4x slots but will they work with old school agp slots? I always thought that an 8x card will work in any slot although it will just run at the speed of the slot it is in.

On some web sites the e-mail contact always opens to a MS Outlook application and it ask you to set something up. For example, www.craigslist.org does this. What am I supposed to do in order to e-mail? Also It asks for outgoing mail type suck as pop 3. What is Pop 3?
