When I play a dvd on my computor it sounds like it skipping but the dvds isn't stratched. I've tried everything even new dvds. It plays but the words sounds wierd. I've tried every player on my computor. But everyone plays the same.

several possible reasons here most likely one is the player your using has bad codecs try reinstalling. second is check the device manager for your sound and maybe update the driver
you may also have a pc that just can't take the load of running a dvd perhaps low memory too much other software running in the background or a conflict with something else running in the background

Sounds like something isn't fast enough to handle all the data sent by the DVD. Could be a RAM issue.

The best Guess to buy cleaning dvd for heads in your dvd rom if its not that then i think best is replace the dvd rom that cause that problem for brand new one

the dvd reader is probably dirty and need to be cleaned use a disk cleaner or call you computer's company and ask how much it is to get it fixed. if you cant get it fixed than im very sorry hope the helps

Sounds like your reader may be dirty try running a DVD cleaning disk through it.

contact where you bought if from OR contact the manufacturer of the computer. There should be a tech help phone no. with your paperwork that came with the computer.
This is something that is under warranty and will be repaired free.

your computer isnt fast enough to run a dvd, i had the same prob. with my old computer? you can also try to update the driver files. but i still say its your computer. please tell me you didnt install a dvd reader in an old system (older then 2000) it isnt a good idea.
