You have your default email application as MS Outlook.

To help you more it would help to know who your email provider is. If you don't want to set up MS outlook you need to select from IE window TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>PROGRAMS>EMAIL

Microsoft Outlook is a POP3 (Post office protocol) e-mail application. It also is compatible with other protocols but I won't get into that. Outlook is generally used to access an e-mail account that your ISP will normally provide. Outlook is currently setup as your default mail application and this is why it opens when you click an e-mail contact link in Internet Explorer. If you are using Yahoo! as your e-mail provider you will not need to set up Outlook.

You can setup Yahoo! mail to be your default e-mail handler with an extension that is available for Internet Explorer. Visit the following link and click "Continue" to install the extension. From then on you will be prompted to log on to Yahoo! mail when you click a contact e-mail link.

If you need help installing the extension, there are instructions at the page listed in the source below.

Set your default mail program in your Internet Settings.

If using Internet Explorer:

Go to:

1) Tools
2) Internet Options
3) Programs tab
4) Set email to Outlook (or whatever you want it to use)
