I have a PowerMac G5 and recently had to purchase a Airport Extreme card for my computer so that I could connect to the internet wirelessly. I moved to my uncle's house; he has Yahoo/SBC DSL. This is how it is currently set up: my uncle desktop computer connects to a wired modem/router, which connects to a NetGear wireless router. My computer (which is on the 2nd floor) receives its signal from the wireless router.

My connection is unbearably slow; is there any way that I can boost my speed? Or is this normal? I'm used to having Comcast High-Speed cable internet so I don't know if DSL is just normally much slower or what.

Can anyone help me out?

Computer screen has lines and the lines show up from time to timeand I think it's the video card. I have a Hewet Packard for a box and compaq for the monitor. How do I update the video card? I tried everythinf I possibly could. I went to the site and tried the possible divers and nothing works. whats going on? How do you update the video card? like a purple lines showing up on the screen. Thanks.

I THOUGHT I copied all my cd's and other music files onto one dvd disc but I've just realized that only half of my collection went on the disc!!! And of course I've deleted the folder that had everything so now I'm up the creek! I've read that there are ways to retrieve files that have been deleted so somebody please tell me how it's done.
