The easiest way is to load them into a graphics program, and then go to FILE, SAVE AS, and under the filename box you'll see another box for file TYPE. Select the format you want and save. You may need to try different graphics programs to find one that supports the file type you want. The PAINT program that comes with Windows supports both BMP (bitmap) and JPG.

Open the bitmap image in paint (start->program files->accessories->paint), then "save-as", and you can select from a list of file formats to save in (including jpg)

If you have an advanced enough version of Microsoft Paint, you can open the bitmap and save it under JPG format. If your version of Microsoft Paint isn't good enough, one thing you can do is upload the bitmap to ImageShack and then save it from there, which will automatically convert it to PNG, which is a more compressed format.

The easiet way to do this without installing any 3rd party software is, Open the .BMP picture in Microsoft Paint & Save it As .JPG. Thats All. You dont have to install High-end softwares like Photoshop to do such a small thing, The local resouces you have are more than enough. - Dr.Doom

If you have Microsoft Picture It, Photoshop, Adobe, etc. Open the picture in your program. Then, go up to file and 'save as'. When you get the screen to save, arrow down and click save as jpg.

If you have Microsoft Office Picture Manager or Windows Paint, you can export the .bmp file to .jpg.
