I THOUGHT I copied all my cd's and other music files onto one dvd disc but I've just realized that only half of my collection went on the disc!!! And of course I've deleted the folder that had everything so now I'm up the creek! I've read that there are ways to retrieve files that have been deleted so somebody please tell me how it's done.

certain it is going to so again up your pc before you install vista as your complicated stress will probable be formatted in the set up mindset ...once you install vista then use your backup discs or some thing media you pick to reinstall your saved information

Check your recycle bin. If you deleted it there too then i don't know. I hope you get your files back!:)
