I've been having this problem in the last couple of days- my computer restarts itself anytime I try to download something. Even if I want to run a scan it reboots itself. Is it infected by a virus or something else?

I recently divorced and I need to clear out the garage and payoff bills. I don't want to do the work required for eBay or auctions.yahoo. I would like to use a service. i'm tryin to connect to a wireless connection in my apartment. windows detects a connection and i connect. then when i open Firefox, it says that im not connected. then i noticed that my ip address and default gateway are differnet. so is there a way to change the ip address to match the gateway?

I am programming in visual c/c++, using C not c++, and I have written a program that calls a file I input into it. When I run the program I have it asking what file I want to input but I would like to change this so I tell it that file when I call the program from the command prompt.

Ex. C:\Documents and Settings\user>program.exe file

if someone could help me out with that it would be very appreciated.

I have installed J2SE 5.0 Update 7 nad Java EE 5 on my system. I have set the PATH as 'c:\jdk1.5.0_07\bin'. The compiler is working smoothly, so is appletviewer. But the application launcher command 'java' is raising an exception as java.lang.UnsupportedClassLoaderError. The command javac -version shows the correct version of jdk, while the command java -version shows an earlier version of java. This is the first time java is installed on my system.

ASUS CD-S480/AH and NEC DVD-RW WD 2100 AD.It says code 41 a driver was loaded but windows can not find it. When the computer is turned on. A black screen comes on with a "boot master error press any key" then you press a key and it comes up and says enter boot device and press key...or something like that. Eventually it fires up windows again..but it takes a long time! We just re-installed Windows XP and before that there wasn't an error like this. It doesn't happen every time, only part of the time. Could the 200 gig hard drive be going out of it? We haven't had the HP computer a year yet!
