Hi
Can anybody recommend one good application for checking hard disk for bad sector?
My hard disk is Maxtor, does Maxtor company has any tool for bad sector?

Currently there is a dilemma in my new household as some would prefer a 1mbps connection whereas due to financial reasons for others they would prefer a 512kbps connection. Would 4 house mates be able to survive on the slower connection?

I enter an web address (walmart.com) in the address bar, but nothing happens, the computer just keeps "thinking". But when I enter a differnent address it works (like yahoo)...its like it only accepts/registers certain websites...My internet options are set ok.
