i want to change my email address but i dont know how or if i can???

You cannot change e-mail addresses [Yahoo! ID} to be able to have a different e-mail address you have to sign up for a new account and choose the right ID so you don't have to waste another account :)

How can I delete my account?
Terminating your account means you'll lose access to the Yahoo! ID, Yahoo! Mail, and profile names associated with it. We'll also delete the account data and settings across the Yahoo! network. This includes any contents in:

Nah You Can't Change Your Email Address, You Have To Either Close The Account You Have Now If You Don't Want It Anymore And Create A New One.

Create another account. Then yahoo will give you an option to be able to send out a notice with your new address to people in your address book in your old account . I did it a few months back. It also allows you to transfer all your yahoo files as well.

Cant change email
Change your profile instead.
