And the fact that the next generation of Windows IS A COMPLETE DUPLICATE OF OSX TIGER!!!!

Boy, I can't imagine how XvsXP.com could have possibly missed those things.

All the above things MS XP has, just under different names. MS theoritically is a better system, from the code point of view. And the idea that MAC has never gotten a virus is false it has but it was either not reported or didn't infect a large enough number of systems. Which makes sense as approx 95% of all computers are PC based. It is surmised that the only reason Mac is making a small come back is the Ipod generation(Ie Ipod is cool I wonder what a MAc is like). I will admit MAC are an excellent machine and system but a PC can do alot more alot better and is more stable when used correctly. I would warn though don't spend alot on a MAC system if you are thinking to buy one frankly it's a fad something that will and has already started to fizzle out.
Note: And yes I have used a MAC for video editing and many times it would decide to itself to shut off half way though a project.

I have two words for you:

Market Share

In other words, all of those things are true about OSX. But since the greater majority of computer users already use Windows in some flavor or another, the fact that OSX is technically better is, essentially, irrelevant.

This is very old hat in the technology world - being "better" doesn't really guarantee squat - except maybe bragging rights at the bankruptcy hearing.

BTW, I'm both a Windows and a Mac guy and have worked in the tech industry for decades - so no partisan interest one way or another.

Maybe Windows Vista will catch up, but remember that OS X is built on a UNIX backbone. Because Apple switched to Intel processors, OS X remains a superior OS.

OSX is better. vista is a copycat of tiger. OSX will remain on top..gain more users and microsoft go bye bye. in the distant future.. there is something windows is better at than apple. ITS GETTING MORE VIRUSES. =D

The MACX X is a great system. It is certainly more reliable, will accommodate professional grade software ( not Adobe stuuf) folks) for graphics, desktop publishing and secure communications

A greater variety of programs are available for Windows, but that should change as those programs can more readily be adapted for mac use as well.

Other than mass marketing by Bill G and Microsoft that pushed that system on the world (and therefore more software companies code for windows), its simple:

MacOS is superior.

Not really. The only thing is that Windows is more widely used and excepted (but that doesn't make it better).

Market share, UNIX, Xerox Alto Polo (right? forgot) you can bring up any of those, but reality differs.
